Oldest Dog in World Dies
Miss Ellie, noted as the worlds oldest dog, passed away. She was 17 years if age, I actually did a story about Miss Ellie when she won that title. She is a tiny, Chinese Crested Hairless dog with bugged out eyes. She won the contest for being the ugliest dog in the world last June. Miss Ellie had a career in resort shows in the Smoky Mountain area. She performed in shows at the Comedy Barn in Pigeon...

I actually did a story about Miss Ellie when she won that title.
She is a tiny, Chinese Crested Hairless dog with bugged out eyes. She won the contest for being the ugliest dog in the world last June.
Miss Ellie had a career in resort shows in the Smoky Mountain area. She performed in shows at the Comedy Barn in Pigeon Forge.
Miss Ellie also made an appearance on the Animal Planet show “Dogs 101″ and was also seen on billboards and in a commercial.
She took the blue ribbon in for being the ugliest dog in the pedigree division.
Ellie, who was blind, worked with her owner to raise money for the area humane society. She helped make over $100,000 for the Sevier Co Humane Society.
She will be cremated.
